Pick Your Battle

For many of us the best things in life are difficult to achieve. When you think about it, the easiest things to accomplish can have the worst effects on our minds and bodies. So why train for a long distance event? Because achieving long distance endurance is not easy and requires a considerable amount of learning and experimenting over the course of a 12 or 24 week training program along the journey to your first half or full marathon.
